Sanford Pinot Blanc
Best known as one of the classic varieties grown in the Alsace region of France, Pinot Blanc is a white variety, but it is closely related to Pinot Noir. Like Pinot Noir, it requires a cold climate to express its lovely combination of fruit and floral notes, while maintaining balanced acidity. Our 2013 Pinot Blanc is a wine made from a single block from the Sierra Madre Vineyard in the Santa Maria Valley. Barrel fermented in neutral French oak to add mouth feel to the bright flavors, our Pinot Blanc offers enticing notes of apple, honeycomb, white flowers and almonds.
