Sanford Sanford & Benedict Viognier
Our estate grown 2013 Viognier is from the iconic Sanford & Benedict Vineyard. While known primarily for Pinot Noir, this great property also grows a small amount of very high quality Viognier. Hand harvested and barrel fermented in neutral French oak, this beautifully aromatic wine has the intriguing combination of floral and exotic fruit characters that make this variety so appealing. The cool climate of the Sta. Rita Hills also bestows a balanced minerality and bright acidity which add a deep complexity to this lovely Viognier.
