John Terlato got to know Napa Valley from an early age, roaming through vineyards and meeting many of the great pioneers of the region with his father, Tony. Today, John works closely with a team of exceptional winemakers throughout the year, ensuring each wine is expressive of its place and grape - as well as delicious. A wine and food enthusiast, John knows the importance of harmony between the two. He is a frequent speaker and spokesperson, helping to demystify wine and educate people on the hallmarks of great wines. His interest in every detail of the farming and winemaking processes is borne of his father’s focus on quality, and John collaborates frequently with the winemaking team to innovate and experiment, with a goal of producing the best possible wines.
