Our “Gravity Flow” Pinot Noir is named in honor of our precious water source, the natural springs, which flow via gravity from high on the hill southeast down to the winery. Gravity is also used to gently move wine using our elevator tanks.
W I N E M A K E R N O T E S
A total of 8 individual barrels were selected from some of our favorite Pinot Noir blocks from both of our estate vineyards. This represents a range of clones including 667, 777, 115, 943, 37, 2A, Pommard, and the Sanford & Benedict selection. This is also from some of the rockier soils on the property. This combination gives great complexity and intensity with impeccable balance. A host of dark raspberry, espresso, and spice meld into the suave and cool-toned finish, where a hint of game adds the last layer of nuance. Enjoy this gorgeous Pinot over the next handful of years.
