This prized, single block wine from our La Rinconada Vineyard is a truly special Chardonnay. We bottled a mere 235 cases of this classic wine from our most cherished block of clone 15 Chardonnay. This vibrant, aromatic and balanced cool climate wine is called "La Entrada" because it comes from the parcel at the entrance to the vineyard. From its aromas of lemon zest and toasted almonds, to its rich palate balanced by crisp acidity and distinctive minerality, this wine highlights the outstanding character of this vineyard block in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills. While drinking deliciously now, this wine has the complexity and balance to age beautifully (8 to 10+ years). This is a Chardonnay for your cellar; to treasure, revisit and enjoy for years to come.
