92 Points: "With patience, the appellation's seminal vineyard reveals layer after aromatic layer of damp wood, hot raspberry syrup laced with cardamom cream, and a bit of anise. Fresh cranberry hits the palate first, then picks up tobacco ash in the mid palate along with recently plucked oregano, thyme and marjoram." - Matt Keppman, Wine Enthusiast
92 Points: "Very dark ruby color; ripe raspberry, tart cherry, tobacco nose; very tasty, medium bodied, silky textured, tart raspberry puree, tart cherry palate with medium acidity and grip; could use 2-3 years bottle age; medium-plus finish " - Richard Jennings
